  poor old andre, he has had an amazing exemplary life............................evidently.. .

  could someone help me with this question please as it has been on my mind for sometime.

  watchtower comes along and changes the typical anti typical beliefs and with a stroke of the pen eliminates years of books and teachings.

  why does this not apply to 1914?

  I asked an old timer about his thoughts about it and he holds the view that as the light gets brighter it gets more simple... I had no words because I sat through 3 book studies of the the NOW extinct revelation book...🙄🤔😑😶

  I have been WAITING for more of us to wake up and discover this. When they reviewed this new light at the annual meeting I was so confused how any still in PIMI Jws weren't so bewildered and devastated. Every thing they have taught in the past and are waiting to happen in the future was rooted in type/ anti type nonsense!

  i remember when my faith left me.

  i used to enjoy meetings and used to participate but then all of a sudden i was finding myself bored shitless at meetings.

  i was taken off the theocratic ministry school for not attending when i was due to give a talk and not long after did something naughty and got disfellowshiped.

  I remember sitting at the mid week meeting and the book study was about universal sovereignty- sorry, I don't know what book is was from but all the literature is peppered with this info, so the exact reference not necessary in this case. I was actually having a critical thinking moment and did not agree at all with the reasoning about why human suffering needed to happen and continues to need to happen. Then I realized in that moment the carrot that continues to dangle honest hearted Jws is just not true...

  i was a 3rd generation jw on my mom’s side and both of my parents were jws when i was born.

  me and my 3 siblings were raised a bit on the strict side.

  no sports, outside association, college, mandatory meeting attendance & service routine, etc.

  Enjoyed your story! I wish we would have started a family- we stupidly bought into the whole wait to the new system bs when we were in. Isn't it interesting how moving away from family changes your faith? That happened to us.

  it uses the example of human feelings as a basis to understand god.. for instance: under the heading "does god notice you?

  ", it goes into great detail of about what a woman feels when she bonds with her child.

  One of my biggest issues has always been, how can a loving God continue to watch from his front row seat all the unspeakable suffering that happens every minute of the day the world over. Especially when allegedly has the power to stop it!
